China Travel 2.0

在中国，Social Media在旅游行业的应用日益增多，由于市场需要，专门为旅游相关部门提供social media服务的专业公司开始出现。由于social media的时效性、互动性和多样性具有鲜明的优势，它很容易能够在第一时间吸引读者的注意力，如果主办方想在很短时间内把信息传达出去，利用social media是个很好的选择。
最近的两次国际旅游展会和会议当中，social media的实力就露了一小手。比如，前段时间在北京举办的CIBTM（2009 中国(北京)国际商务及会奖旅游展览会）和这两天在杭州举办的UNWTO（第5届目的地管理国际会议），首先我们很难从这两次会议的官网上看到展会和会议的时事报道，另外，传统媒体的报道也各有侧重，不能全面反应会议实况，在这种情况下，social media的出现很好第补充了而且提高了新闻报道的价值。看看ChinatravelTrends.com对这两次会议的报道，再看看他们为会议拍的相片，看看他们在twitter上做得直播，还有这里，据称，他们是这两次国际会议的唯一用twitter报道的媒体。
很显然，他们的报道比官网上的报道攻势强多了，而且题材广泛，报道及时。美中不足，他们现在还没有形成气候，还没有很多的follower，虽然内容很好，但是不能让很多的人知道，这是个软肋。
