让乡土教育这棵小苗茁壮地成长起来

副标题:china Travel 2.0 负责人Winser zhao采访“天下溪”乡土教材项目负责人王小平老师 关键词:NGO,乡土教材,文化旅游,当地文化,环保,天下溪,China Travel 2.0 背景介绍:China Travel 2.0(http://www.chinatravel20.com) 是国内一家倡导文化旅游,与当地人进行有效交流的旅游机构,办公地点在北京。英文口号是:for a better understanding with meeting local people. 中文口号:旅游+沟通=深度旅游。主要服务对象是英语国家的客人。为那些来自英语国家的旅游者提供本土的草根的旅游信息,偏重突出当地文化,接触当地有名 望的手工艺者和民间组织。 天下溪(http://www.brooks.ngo.cn/)是一家民间非营利教育机构,办公室设在北京。主要项目有:乡土教材开发、乡村社区图书馆援助计划、天下讲坛(面向公众的开放性讲座)、发展(公民)教育推广协作网络、影像活动等。 王小平老师是天下溪乡土教材项目负责人,参加该工作4年以来,完成了由专业图书编辑到社会活动家的转变,而且在王小平老师看来,这个转变竟是这么自然。 下面是China Travel 2.0负责人Winser Zhao对王小平老师的采访。希望能够给大家更多的关于教育,可持续发展,保护当地文化,促进人与人之间的沟同与理解的启发。 1 Winser问(下文将简称为问):请您稍微介绍一下自己,之前的工作是什么,哪年开始接手天下溪乡土教材这个项目的? 王 小平答(下文将简称为答):我是一个编辑,应该说是一个很不错的编辑,不太谦虚的话,也可以说是一个不错的杂志主编。我编辑过莫言的《丰乳肥臀》,郭小川 的《检讨书》,还有第一次在大陆把毛泽东作为研究对象的论文集《外国学者评毛泽东》等,这些书虽然有文学作品,有社科读物,体裁不同,领域各异,但是从文 化意义上讲,却有认识人生、认识社会的多种方法和不同角度。编辑图书需要读更多的书,也需要和很多学者沟通对话,所以编辑的过程是工作也是积累,脑袋里就 像万宝囊一样不停地塞进东西。当一闲下来的时候,脑子里就会冒出许许多多五彩缤纷的想法。我这个人精力充沛,兴趣面广,尤其对于涉及历史和文化的东西,总 是一见钟情,视若珍宝,所以当2006年天下溪开始拉市海乡土教材的项目需执行人的时候,我就顺理成章地加入了这个工作团队。说白了,就是我开始做一件有 意思而又有意义的事。这是我所乐意的。 2 问:天下溪乡土教材项目的产生背景是什么?乡土教材的主要运行模式及过程是什么? 答: 天下溪乡土教材项目的产生源于天下溪从诞生始就进行的环境教育项目。天下溪是因为”鹤”类基金会的《迁徙的鹤》的湿地环境教育项目而诞生的,我的年轻的小 事们在做环境教育的时候感觉在每一个地方浓厚的乡土文化中有很多和环境保护息息相关的东西,那些丰富的乡土文化是当地人们成长的根,而在我们的教材体系中 却缺乏乡土文化这个内容。我们反省自己,也几乎没有接受过什么关于我们的家乡、关于我们的生长地的文化的教育,于是就萌生了填补这个空缺,做乡土文化教材 的念头。于是我们从拉市海开始就做起纯粹意义的乡土教材,而且将其发展成为天下溪的核心能力。 当然他还有一个大社会背景,就是新课程改革所推行的三级课程制,地方课程和校本课程的推广使乡土教材有了在学校着陆的可能。 我 们做乡土教材是先从调研开始。怀着浓浓的文化情怀,在项目地访谈、采风、考察,恶补当地的文化知识,并在项目地的风情中体验那一种文化与当地自然环境的水 乳交融的感觉,体味当地先民在与这样的自然环境的磨合中沉淀下来的生活智慧,形成这个地方的乡土教材的基本方向。然后与当地的教育领导机构合作组织当地教 师组成编写团队,共同讨论编写讨论大纲,分工写作,经过三次稿件讨论成稿。 我们认为乡土教材不是简单的乡土文化知识的堆积,而是这 一方乡土上的先祖智慧的体现,乡土教材不是简单地传达知识,而是传达一种思维方式,–如何适应这块土地的自然资源更好的生活的思路。比如我们在湘西教材 里关于吊脚楼、关于那里的食物–腊肉和酸菜的课文,就是表现先祖们在湘西当地天无三日晴、地无三尺平的环境中,发明了吊脚楼这样一种又安全又实用又美观 的民居和腊肉这种便于存放的美味的。我们的乡土教材关注人的成长,我们希望通过教材的学习,孩子们能够建立我是谁、我在哪儿、我和谁在一起以及我们怎样生 活的的这样一种由近及远的思路,从认识自己、到认识自己的家和自己的家乡,从而建立爱家、爱家乡的意识,以增强孩子的自信心和自豪感。 思 路明确了,方法也很重要。乡土教材虽然传播的时相对传统的知识,在传播这些知识的时候,要运用一些新的认知方式和传达一些新的概念,同时学生的参与与互动 [...]
