I will only talk about the online booking websites for air tickets from china this time.

some of my friends always ask me for the cheap air tickets, of course including lots of expats. here are some experiences for looking for a cheap air tickets.

step 1: goto or , they are the 2 biggest online booking portal websites in China. both has the English service. I would rather not goto , you cant book any tickets at all over there, and the price will keep changing. Thats good if you dont know this website yet. btw, you should have a China domestic credit card when purchasing the tickets.

step 2: goto directly, sometimes you will get the really cheap price. but you should also own a China domestic bank account(China Merchants Bank or Industrial and Commercial Bank of China). believe me, the prices show in the website of Air China, sometimes, is even cheaper than the call center itself(4008-100-999). it doesn’t matter if you don’t have a domestic bank account, try to call the service center, maybe they can let you pay to the count at the airport.

step 3: goto your Travel agent(for example  )and goto find one if don’t have one yet. they will do any thing for the best price they can find.
