We decided finally for our family trip. We will goto Jinhekou forest park in Yuxian county, Hebei province 河北蔚县. which belong to Zhangjiakou area 张家口. about 200 km west to Beijing city.
Transport: the only bus to Yuxian depart from Deshengmen Bus Stop德胜门长途汽车站. you can choose the best  bus from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. the bus depart every hour. there is a stop named xiheying 西河营 which you should get off then stop another car to Jinhekou forest park. It will take you about 3 hours on the way. the fee is about 60 rmb, A/C bus.
Jinhekou forest park 金河口森林公园: Jinhekou forest park actually is not open yet. the local people told me there is a millitary force based in the forest area. No tourists allowed. anyway, the Jinhekou park is a wild mountain with natural scenery, thats enough for the people working in the city who need fresh air and relax in the mountain.
　　金河口旅游区地处河北第一高峰小五台山脚下，东距北京200 公里，西倚山西大同，地理位置优越，为北京周边后花园。金河旅游区海拔2882米，有野生高等植物1347种，各种动物56种，其中国家列入一类保护动物计30种。这里奇山怪石，峡谷幽深，森林茂密，蝶飞鸟鸣，植物繁多，动物奇珍，异峰比势，鬼斧神工，四季分明，夏日无蚊，风凉贯谷，一派仙境。金河古塔，世代传名，且有“一线天”、“珍珠泉”等30多处自然遗存，为游人提供了得天独厚的生态旅游境地。

Jinhekou park for bird watching

观鸟的线路主要有三条：第一条路线可以从金河口到松枝口、张家窑、南台，以及观上、杨家湖、三里棚等地。第二条路线是从金河口前往西台、东台、山涧口等地。第三条路线是从杨家坪到谢家堡、王涧、西灵山等地。一般需要3天以上的时间，分别走完上述三条观鸟路线。

由于小五台山自然保护区主要分为三个部分，彼此相距较远，所以观鸟之前一定要多与保护区的工作人员沟通，将当地情况了解清楚，以免耽误时间。另外，在南台西南方的三里棚一带是褐马鸡的主要栖息地之一。如果有时间，可以安排前往。金河口、杨家坪管理处均可住宿，也可以接待200-300学生实习。

小五台山是珍禽褐马鸡和华北山地森林鸟类的重要栖息地。其他珍禽包括国家I级保护动物金雕、白肩雕、大鸨；国家II级保护动物鸢、苍鹰、雀鹰、大鵟、白尾鹞、鹊鹞、燕隼、红隼、勺鸡、雕鴞、纵纹腹小鴞、长耳鴞等。
