or enjoy it first now. sorry I cant help posting it here.

The Longest Way 1.0 – one year walk/beard grow time lapse from Christoph Rehage on Vimeo.

November 9th 2007 – November 13th 2008, Christoph Rehage finished a one-year-on-foot trip. from Beijing to Ürümqi,china.a 4646km-way through China. Amazing.

No doubt,Xinjiang is one of the hot topics of China recently. No one knows what happened, I bet even the locals dont quite understand the situtations sometimes. But I’d rather not talk about the Xinjiang affairs here, the most important is that the media is media, not our own eyes, the best reliable way to understand it is explore it by yourself, you will tell yourself what it looks like, I really hate some one always tell you laws or rules just seems he is the only expert. ok,I will stop as well.

all the guests love the video, here are some comments about it.

Really awesome!
The hair and beard thing was fun, but I’m more amazed by the trek you did. Inspiring!
I have traveled with backpack many places, but my dream is to do something similar. (Hard to do when you have a family, but when my son is older, maybe I can sneak away for a year or two.)

What an incredible transformative journey….I’m better for having seen that. It is nspiring to see a man take a step into the great unknown and come out reborn in a way. Bravo!

Amazing trip, and a fun video.
I’m sure you’ll carry the experience with you for the rest of your life!

Unfortunetly. nobody mentioned about the story behind the video. Who is Teacher Xie. How did Teacher Xie save him. I really wanna to know it. and hope I can interview Mr. Christoph Rehage someday in real life. I must buy him a beer if he drinks.
