As you see, china is the best place for observing this total solar eclipse(日全食,Pinyin: Rì Quán Shí), which is the best one in 100 years as reported, on July 22th. If you are familier with the China Geography, Maybe you can find that this eclipse route just follows the Yangtze river. so it has another beautiful name-Yangtze Eclipse.

Update: Tomorrow is the big day for eclipse, the people in the cities along the Yangtze river will have the opportunity to enjoy the total solar eclipse. Unfortunetly, the weather brodcast shows that maybe they are not that lucky. the rain storm will happen in Shanghai and Nanjing as the weather brodcast reported. People in Beijing and other cities has the “dog day” finally. Althought not the total eclipse, but a 75% eclipse is much better than they can only see the rain and thick cloud. So tomorrow, my family will goto Jingshan park for the eclipse, Hope can meet you there.
