yesterday,i went out in the morning instead of went to Ditan park for practiceing the Taiji quan. you know, the Beijing hutong is very interesting,  maybe we can see some different person this time. as usual,i took my son for the explore. we were so lucky, we saw the blurst corns in the hutong(but the typical English is popcorn, but it is not the correct here. they really burst the corn). they are two olds.  the old man, who bursted the corn, the old woman, sell the corn. i believe they knew the Olympics was over, and they knew when they can show on the streets. otherwise,they will certainlly not allowed show up in the streets or hutongs. for the good looking of the city. then a car stopped, nobody steped out ,just downed the window and a hand appeared asking for a bag of corn, the old woman standed up and serviced the corn into the car quickly. always,they are very careful, they afraid of recieving fake Renminbi, even the 20 Yuan RMB. the old woman not sure this 20 yuan rmb is real or not. even the old man not sure either. but they recieved it finally, i hope it was the real one. this is what happened in the hutong yesterday, i hope you can encounter other interesting when you come and walking in the hutong.

Hutong is important for beijingners. they live in hutong from their fater and father’s father,  the hutong is their life, their everything. but as a fact, the hutongs in beijing is less and less. the modern building more and more.  the most hutongs in beijing are distributed in the dongcheng and xicheng district mostly. even the hutongs in this 2 districts are not preserved well either. this is not good. so you should pay more attention on hutongs, to my point of view.

sorry, you didnt hear the burst. but you see the heavy smoke? thats it. the very huge burst. then make the popcorn. the burst corn is the correct word here. you can see, they really burst it.
