Highlights 
The fall is the best season in Beijing. The colorful leaves in Xiangshan Mt, the golden Yinxing tree outside of diaoyutai wall, the blue and clean sky always remind us the fall is the best. Even the Oct in Lunar calendar has a beautiful name: Golden fall Oct(金秋十月). the famous Chinese writer Yu Dafu（郁达夫） wrote his feeling of Fall of Beijing（故都的秋）. So, it must be a golden tour in Beijing  in fall.
Morning

Get up early. 7 am

Drive to Mutianyu（慕田峪长城） Great wall..

Why Mutianyu

Actually, there are Badaling（八达岭） great wall and Mutianyu great wall in Beijing. But Badaling great wall is near Beijing, so there are lots tourists been there, especially in the weekend. Mutianyu great wall is in Huairou（怀柔） district, 73 km away from the central Beijing. About 2 hours drive. The shape of the great wall is different from other parts of the great wall. And I will tell you more of the background of it.

Clothing and water

It is fall, cold in the morning. So bring a coat with you. 2 bottles of Mineral water at least. Everybody 2 bottles at least. We are climbing and hiking the Great wall.

Lunch

Picnic. Not cost too much time and money. I will bring some local Yanjing beers, nice.

We will have the picnic on the way back to Beijing.

Time

Plan arrive at the Mutianyu great wall around 9’clock, no more than 2 hous’ climbing and hiking. Then we will back.

Afternoon

Drive back to the town, have a rest on the way to Beijing for picnic. Beizhai village. A typical north modern village. Arrive the downtown, sight seeing of Tiananmen Square and explore the Forbidden City.

Direction

We will go along the middle axis of Beijing.from Tiananmen sq, Forbidden city,Jingshan park,Houhai park. From south to north. All way on foot.

Time

From Tiananmen sq to Houhai Park will cost 3 hours.

Subway

You took the Line 13 in the morning, now it is time to take the very old one-Line 1. We will goto Tiananmen sq by Line 1. And then all walk until Houhai Park（后海）.

Hutong

Around the houhai park, there are lots of old hutongs. We will have a hutong tour there.

Dinner

We will goto Baguobuyi（巴国布衣地安门店） for a typical Sichuan style restaurant.  And there will be a Bianlian show during our dinner. The spicy food with traditional Bianlian show（变脸）. Nice.

Bar and ambling

Nanluoguxiang（南锣鼓巷） is one of the typical old hutongs（胡同） in Beijing. We will walk amble the hutong and have a drink in a bar.

 Itinerary

6:30 get up

7:00 find the Line 13 and goto Wangjing direction

7:50 drive to Mutianyu together, high way to Huairou district

9:00 arrive at the Mutianyu great wall

9:10 climbing and hiking

11:10 down the great wall and back to the town

11:50 picnic on the way to Beijing

12:50 high way to the town

2:00 arrive at the Tiananmen sq

2:10 walk through the Tiananmen sq and the forbidden city to houhaipark.

5:20 walk on the bank and hutong tour

7:10 arrive at the Baguobuyi restaurant

8:00 Bianlian show

10:00 back home

rate:240rmb for coach tour(including car renting and tickets and lunch).500 rmb for private tour(not inculding the car renting and tickets and lunch).
