Those foreigners may be considered as the terrorists or with intention of violence and subversive activities ,smuggling, drug trafficking, prostitution activities are not welcomed by Beijing Olympics. And seven major types of weapons and other items are also prohibited entry.

Also,the official of Beijing Olympics told, the people bought the Olympics tickets in advance does not mean they can get the visa to china automaticly. They still goto the embassy of China abroad for related procedures.

中新网6月2日电 北京奥组委今天对《奥运期间外国人入境出境及在中国停留期间法律指南》作出说明。说明提到，在北京奥运会期间，“被认为入境后可能进行恐怖、暴力、颠覆活动”、“被认为入境后可能进行走私、贩毒、卖淫活动”等六类外国人不准入境，另外武器等七大类物品也被禁止携带入境。

《指南》称，以下六类外国人不准入境：被中国政府驱逐出境，未满不准入境年限的；被认为入境后可能进行恐怖、暴力、颠覆活动的；被认为入境后可能进行走私、贩毒、卖淫活动的；患有精神病和麻疯病、性病、开放性肺结核病等传染病的；不能保障其在中国期间所需费用的；被认为入境后可能进行危害中国国家安全和利益的其他活动的。

奥组委同时提醒，境外观众并不会因已购买奥运门票而自动获得入境签证，仍需要按照相关规定到中国驻外使领馆申请办理签证。

另外，《指南》还规定了禁止入境的物品。这些物品是：各种武器、仿真武器、弹药和爆炸物品；伪造的货币及伪造有价证券；对中国政治、经济、文化、道德有害的印刷品、胶卷、照片、唱片、影片、录音带、录像带、激光视盘、计算机存储介质及其它物品；各种烈性毒药；鸦片、吗啡、海洛因、大麻以及其它能使人成瘾的麻醉品、精神药物；带有危险性病菌、害虫及其它有害生物的动物、植物及其产品；有碍人畜健康的，来自疫区的以及其它能传播疾病的食品、药品或其它物品。

针对《指南》的说明补充说，入境外国游客随身携带食品须以旅途应用为限，每日每种限1箱。超出限量的，须向口岸入境检验检疫机构申报检验检疫。

此外，出于人性化考虑，在中国，入境旅客每人每次限带1只宠物，宠物仅限于猫和狗，经检疫合格的猫和狗，才准予入境。
