本报柏林5月11日电 （记者吕鸿）中国海南航空和德国柏林机场9日在柏林举行联合新闻发布会宣布，海南航空将从今年9月5日起从北京直飞往返柏林，从而恢复中德两国首都间的直航。
由于种种原因，中国国航10年前取消了柏林和北京之间的航线，使得中德两国首都之间没有直航。10年来，中德双方各界要求恢复两个城市间的直航呼声不断。
海南航空此次实现北京与柏林之间的直航将与德方伙伴柏林航空公司合作，实现代码共享。柏林航空不久前开辟了德国西部北威州首府杜塞尔多夫到北京的航线，反响良好。海南航空计划每周4班往返北京和柏林，启用先进的空客A330-200飞机。
