The extreme weather conditions with unusual cold weather and seldom seen amounts of snow earlier this year that hit big parts of middle and southern china has unfortunately impacted the tracks for the race. In order to reach the required security level and especially make sure the quality of the race tracks, the main organizers CCA and the Huangshan government unfortunately have decided to postpone the event this year for a few weeks. The new intentional event date will be on May 10th, but this date is still NOT confirmed by CCA and the Huangshan government, but will be within two days.
The positive news is the big interest among domestic and international bikers for the Huangshan MTB Festival. Until today a couple of hundred of bikers have already signed up for the yearly race that is being arranged for the third consecutive year.
